Welcome to Opposite Attracts SAL (“we,” “our,” “us”, “the company”).
By accessing or purchasing from our website www.oppositeattracts.co (the “Site”) or through our Social Media channels (including Instagram and TikTok) (“SMC”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”, “Terms”). Please read them carefully before using our services.

We conduct commercial activity in the field of women’s fashion and accessories, encompassing the sourcing, marketing, and sale of apparel, jewelry, and related lifestyle products. The Company’s primary mode of trade is electronic commerce, carried out via its official website and associated digital channels, through which all orders and client interactions are processed in accordance with applicable commercial and consumer-protection laws.
Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions govern and apply to the entirety of the commercial relationship between Opposite Attracts SAL and any individual or entity (“Customer”, “you”, or “your”) engaging with our business in any capacity.
Without limitation, these Terms shall apply to:
1) All sales, purchases, and pre-contractual engagements conducted through our official website, our verified social media accounts (including but not limited to Instagram), and any future digital or e-commerce platforms or SMCs operated or authorized by the Company, such as TikTok Shop or other online marketplaces;
2) All logistics, fulfillment, and delivery operations executed by our approved third-party service providers, including Wakilni for domestic shipments, DHL for international shipments*, and any other delivery agents or in-house couriers designated by the Company;
*We ship to most international destinations worldwide, including North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
3) All communications, promotional activities, marketing campaigns, and customer interactions, whether carried out through our website, social media channels, email correspondence, mobile applications, or other digital or physical means; and
4) Any ancillary or related services, including but not limited to returns, exchanges, loyalty programs, promotional offers, digital content distribution, and customer support services.
The Customer’s use of any of the Company’s sales channels, products, or services constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms, which collectively form a legally binding agreement between the Customer and the Company.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, registering on, or placing an order through our website, social media pages, or any other digital platform operated or authorized by us (collectively referred to as the “Platforms”), you hereby expressly acknowledge, represent, and warrant that you:
- Have carefully read, fully understood, and unconditionally agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, together with any ancillary policies, notices, or disclaimers referenced herein or made available through the Platforms;
- Possess the full legal capacity and authority to enter into binding contractual obligations under applicable law, and therefore, agree to indemnify the Company against any related claim;
- Are acting for lawful purposes and not in contravention of any applicable legislation, regulation, or third-party rights;
- Have provided, and shall continue to provide, complete, accurate, and truthful personal, contact, and payment information necessary for the proper processing and fulfillment of your orders; and
- Understand that any use of the Platforms constitutes an acknowledgment that these Terms form a binding and enforceable legal agreement between you and Opposite Attracts SAL, governing your access to and use of all products, services, and related content made available by the Company.
If you do not agree, in whole or in part, with these Terms or any future amendments thereto, you are expressly instructed to refrain from accessing, using, or transacting through our Platforms, and the Company disclaims all responsibility for any subsequent use carried out in contravention of this provision.
Products and Availability
The Company exercises the utmost diligence to ensure that all information displayed on its Platforms including inter alia product names, descriptions, specifications, dimensions, colors, prices, promotional details, and accompanying images (etc.) is accurate, current, and presented in good faith at the time of publication.
Nevertheless, the Customer acknowledges and agrees that:
- Minor variations in color, texture, appearance, or other visual aspects may occur due to differences in screen resolutions, device settings, photographic lighting conditions, or manufacturing processes, and such variations shall not constitute a defect, misrepresentation, or ground for return or refund;
- Product availability is inherently subject to stock levels, supply chain factors, and seasonal or promotional changes. The Company does not guarantee the continuous availability of any particular item and reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to withdraw, suspend, or modify any product, price, or offer at any time;
- The Company further reserves the right to correct typographical errors, pricing inaccuracies, or omissions that may appear on the Platforms, and to cancel or adjust orders affected by such errors prior to dispatch; and
- All representations of products and services on the Platforms are provided for informational and illustrative purposes only and do not constitute a legally binding offer unless expressly confirmed by the Company through an official order confirmation.
Accordingly, Opposite Attracts SAL shall not be held liable for any reliance placed on product visuals, marketing materials, or descriptions that may differ insignificantly from the delivered items due to the factors described above.
Prices and Payment
All transactions conducted through the Platforms of Opposite Attracts SAL are subject to the pricing and payment provisions set forth below. These terms are intended to govern all financial aspects of the purchase process and to ensure transparent and secure commercial dealings between the Company and the Customer.
1. Currency and Applicable Taxes
- Unless otherwise specified, all prices displayed on the Company’s Platforms are denominated in United States Dollars (USD) or, where applicable, in their equivalent value in Lebanese Pounds (LBP) calculated at the prevailing exchange rate on the date of purchase.
- Prices are quoted inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) and other applicable local taxes unless expressly stated to the contrary.
- Any additional taxes, customs duties, or import fees imposed by the destination country for international orders shall be borne exclusively by the Customer.
2. Price Modifications
- The Company reserves the absolute right to adjust, revise, or modify its prices, fees, and promotional offers at any time and without prior notice, provided that such changes shall not affect confirmed orders already accepted and paid for by the Customer.
- In the event of any typographical or technical error in pricing or description, the Company retains the right to correct such inaccuracies and, where necessary, cancel or amend the corresponding order prior to dispatch.
3. Payment Terms
- Full payment must be received and successfully authorized at the time of purchase. Orders shall not be processed or shipped until the payment has been validated and confirmed by the Company’s payment gateway.
- All payments are securely processed through Monty, the Company’s appointed payment service provider, which employs industry-standard encryption technologies and complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all payment transactions.
- The Company expressly disclaims liability for any unauthorized access, interception, or misuse of data occurring beyond its secure payment environment or due to circumstances attributable to third-party service providers including Monty’s.
4. Right to Refuse Transactions
- Opposite Attracts SAL reserves the unilateral right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, suspend, or cancel any transaction or order that appears to be fraudulent, unauthorized, inconsistent with these Terms, or otherwise deemed to pose a risk to the Company’s financial or operational security.
- In such cases, the Customer may be contacted for identity verification or alternate payment arrangements before the order is processed.
5. Accepted Payment Methods
- Credit or Debit Cards (processed securely via Monty);
- Cash on Delivery (COD), which is available solely and strictly for eligible local deliveries within Lebanon, subject to delivery zone restrictions and any applicable handling fees as communicated at checkout.
All payments made to Opposite Attracts SAL are deemed final upon confirmation, and by completing a transaction, the Customer acknowledges full understanding and acceptance of the foregoing payment conditions.
Orders and Confirmation
Upon submission of an order through any of the Platforms operated by Opposite Attracts SAL, the following provisions shall apply to govern the formation, acknowledgment, and acceptance of the contractual relationship between the Customer and the Company:
1. Order Acknowledgment
- Once an order is successfully submitted, the Customer will receive an acknowledgment email confirming that the order has been received by the Company.
- Such acknowledgment serves solely as a confirmation of receipt and does not constitute acceptance of the order, nor a binding contract between the Customer and the Company at that stage.
2. Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
- The contract for sale shall be deemed concluded only upon the Company’s issuance of a formal Order Confirmation, which will be sent electronically once the payment has been successfully processed, verified, and accepted.
- The Order Confirmation shall include essential details such as the items purchased, applicable pricing, delivery address, and expected delivery timeline.
- The Company reserves the right, prior to confirmation, to verify payment authorization, stock availability, and the accuracy of customer and delivery information.
3. Right to Cancel or Reject Orders
- Opposite Attracts SAL retains the absolute right, at its sole discretion and without incurring liability, to decline, cancel, or partially fulfill any order for any reason, including but not limited to:
§ Unavailability or shortage of the requested product(s);
§ Pricing or typographical errors;
§ Inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable customer information;
§ Failure to obtain payment authorization or suspicion of fraudulent activity; or
§ Any violation of these Terms or applicable laws.
- In such circumstances, the Customer will be duly notified, and where payment has already been received, the corresponding amount shall be refunded in accordance with the Company’s refund policy.
4. Company’s Discretion and Limitation of Liability
- The Company shall not be held responsible for any loss, inconvenience, or consequential damages arising from the cancellation or rejection of an order pursuant to this clause.
- Acceptance of any order remains strictly subject to the Company’s discretion, and no obligation shall arise until a written Order Confirmation has been issued by Opposite Attracts SAL.
Shipping and Delivery
The Company endeavors to ensure timely and secure delivery of all purchased goods in accordance with the terms outlined below. All deliveries are subject to product availability, logistical capacity, and the accuracy of the delivery details provided by the Customer.
7.1 Local Deliveries (Lebanon)
- Deliveries within the Lebanese territory are executed either by Wakilni, the Company’s approved logistics partner, or by the Company’s in-house courier, who is responsible for same-day delivery services within the Greater Beirut area.
- The applicable delivery fees, estimated delivery timeframes, and service availability are displayed at checkout and are subject to adjustment based on distance, order volume, and operational conditions.
- Same-day delivery requests are contingent upon the time of order placement, stock availability, and driver capacity. The Company reserves the right to postpone or reschedule deliveries where operational constraints or safety concerns arise.
- The Customer undertakes to provide accurate and complete delivery details, and shall be responsible for any additional costs or delays resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or inaccessible addresses.
7.2 International Deliveries
- International shipments are fulfilled exclusively through DHL, or such other internationally recognized carrier as may be designated by Opposite Attracts SAL at its discretion.
- Delivery times for international orders vary according to the destination country, shipping method, and customs processing requirements. Estimated timeframes provided at checkout are indicative only and shall not be construed as binding guarantees.
- The Customer is solely responsible for the payment of all customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and any other charges imposed by the destination country or its authorities.
- The Company bears no responsibility for any delays, holds, or additional costs arising from customs inspections, import regulations, or administrative procedures in the destination jurisdiction.
- Customers are advised to consult their local customs office prior to placing an order to determine applicable import restrictions or fees.
7.3 Delivery Policy and Transfer of Risk
- Delivery shall be deemed complete and duly performed once the ordered goods are handed over to the Customer, the Customer’s representative, or any person present at the delivery address who reasonably appears to be authorized to receive the shipment.
- Upon completion of delivery as defined above, all risks of loss, theft, or damage to the goods shall transfer to the Customer, even if the Customer is not physically present to accept the delivery.
- The Company shall not be liable for any delay, failed delivery, or damage arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: force-majeure events, carrier delays, customs inspections, weather conditions, political disturbances, strikes, or incorrect delivery information provided by the Customer.
- In cases where a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to the Customer’s unavailability or incorrect details, the Company reserves the right to reschedule delivery and to charge any additional fees incurred for the re-delivery or return of the goods.
Customer Information and Privacy
To process orders, we collect the following information:
- Full Name
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Delivery Address
- Any other information requested during registration or consented by user
This information is used solely for order processing, delivery, and customer communication.
We process personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except for logistics and payment partners (Wakilni, DHL, Monty) strictly as required to fulfill your order.
Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
The Company values customer satisfaction and endeavors to ensure that every purchase meets the highest quality standards. However, due to the specific nature of fashion and accessory items, returns and exchanges are subject to the following strict conditions and procedures:
9.1 Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges
- Given the personal and delicate nature of fashion products, Opposite Attracts SAL accepts returns or exchanges exclusively in cases where the delivered item is:
o Defective, damaged, or materially inconsistent with the item ordered as a result of an error attributable to the Company; or
o Incorrectly delivered as a result of an error attributable to the Company.
- To qualify for return or exchange, the Customer must:
o Submit a formal return or exchange request within forty-eight (48) hours from the date of delivery; and
o Ensure that the item remains unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and accompanied by its original tags, labels, and packaging in a fully resalable condition.
- Any return request received beyond the stated time frame or involving items showing signs of wear, use, or tampering shall be automatically rejected without exception.
9.2 Return and Exchange Procedure
- Customers must initiate the return process by contacting the Company’s customer service department via email or WhatsApp within forty-eight (48) hours of receiving the order.
- The Customer shall provide:
o A clear description of the issue;
o The order reference number; and
o Photographic evidence showing the defect, damage, or error (where applicable).
- Upon receipt of the request, the Company will review and, if deemed eligible, issue a Return Authorization with instructions on how to proceed.
- Once approved, the Customer may return the product for either:
o Exchange, subject to item availability; or
o Store credit, applicable toward future purchases.
- Refunds, where expressly approved by the Company, shall be processed to the original payment method used at checkout, excluding delivery, return shipping, or handling fees, which remain non-refundable.
- The Company reserves the right to inspect all returned items prior to issuing any exchange, store credit, or refund, and to decline returns that do not comply with these Terms.
9.3 Non-Returnable and Final Sale Items
- For hygiene, safety, and clearance-related reasons, certain products are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable, including but not limited to:
o Accessories, earrings, and jewelry items;
o Sale, discounted, or promotional items clearly marked as “Final Sale”
- The Customer expressly acknowledges that by purchasing such items, they waive any right of return, replacement, or refund, except where a manufacturing defect is duly verified and confirmed by the Company.
9.4 Limitation of Liability
- The Company’s liability in relation to any return, exchange, or refund shall in no case exceed the original purchase price of the item in question.
- The Company shall not be held responsible for loss, delay, or damage to returned items during transit, and customers are encouraged to use traceable shipping services for any authorized returns.
Intellectual Property
All content on our website including images, designs, product descriptions, logos, and trademarks remains the intellectual property of Opposite Attracts SAL.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any material without prior written consent.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Opposite Attracts SAL, its shareholders, officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, service providers, and contractors (collectively, the “Company”) shall not, under any circumstances, be held liable for any loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, the use of its Platforms, products, or services, whether in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Company expressly disclaims liability for:
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings;
- Delays, delivery failures, or losses caused by third-party carriers, customs authorities, or other service providers operating beyond the Company’s direct control;
- Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the information, address, or contact details provided by the Customer at the time of purchase or delivery;
- Unauthorized, fraudulent, or negligent use of the Customer’s account, credentials, or payment method by any third party, including instances resulting from the Customer’s failure to maintain confidentiality or adequate security measures.
The Customer acknowledges and agrees that their exclusive and cumulative remedy for any claim, dispute, or cause of action arising from or related to their order or use of the Platforms shall be strictly limited to the total amount actually paid by the Customer to the Company for the specific order giving rise to such claim.
In no event shall the Company be responsible for any loss or damage caused by events constituting force majeure, as defined under applicable Lebanese law and recognized international legal principles.
Nothing in this clause shall operate to exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory provisions of law.
Force Majeure
We are not responsible for any failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, wars, government actions, strikes, pandemics, or internet outages.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Lebanese law.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or related transactions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Beirut, Lebanon.
